By the end of 2009, Thijs Maenhout and Birgit De Rammelaere started the brewery in the former business buildings of the Gerdox brothel, between Tielt and Meulebeke. We started a 2nd hand brewing plant that had a capacity of 5 hl. Bottling and labeling took place completely manually, bottle per bottle.
In 2014, we took the step of expanding and automating. The brewery in Meulebeke did not have enough capacity, hence we decided to move. The new property is located in Pittem, along the Brugsesteenweg.
At the beginning of 2015, the new brewery was commissioned. It has a capacity of 1200 hectoliters a year. Investments were also made in a counterpressure bottleneck which makes it possible to fill 2000 bottles per hour and guarantee a good quality. In addition, we also have a test installation with a capacity of 60 liters. New beers are developed and there is also a place for seasonal seasonal beers.
